A unique tea appreciation workshop with tea pairings, tea trivia and a sumptuous food spread will be presented at The Salt House on 25th April (Wednesday) from 4-5.30pm.

Karma Kettle (tea specialists) is delighted to partner with The Salt House to curate a memorable afternoon celebrating the ritual of High Tea. We have carefully paired our teas with the delicious spread that includes sourdough bread tea sandwiches and tea cakes made in-house by the team of chefs at The Salt House.

Menu includes - Crudités and Hummus paired with Tahiti (Ice Tea)-Strawberries, Hibiscus and Cockscomb flowers; Gourgeist (baked savory choux pastry); Gruyere, Dill and Cream Cheese; Parmesan and Mushroom Pate; Cheddar and Pork paired with Darjeeling First Flush 2018 (Gopaldhara Tea Estate); Blue Lagoon (Iced Tea) − Green tea with butterfly pea flower and Bengal Lime.

This is followed by Sourdough Tea Sandwiches with Asparagus and cream cheese Tzatziki; Bononcini, Lettuce and Tomato Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese and Radish Greens paired with Table mountain - Rooibos, Sage, Licorice and Fennel and Grilled Tea Sandwiches with Brie and Caramelized Leek Oyster Mushrooms, Radish Greens and Parmesan Ham and Gruyere paired with Istanbul – Green Tea with apple, berries and hibiscus.

Finally there are Delicieux Tea Cakes such as Lemon and Lebu, Mango, Malibu and Mascarpone, Banana Fig and Walnut paired with Maya – Black Tea with chocolate and cranberries; Nolen Gur and Khejur Cha and Marrakech – Green Tea with Spearmint.
