Soumodeep Dutta Brought Zen Like Calming Fashion To Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018

Soumodeep Dutta’s Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 Gen Next show was a calm, comfortable, fashion offering when he made his debut.

For Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018 Soumodeep once again unveiled the beauty of a Zen like fashion story with his “Aalo” collection. Using black and grey against red and white, the line was a quiet symphony of weaves, embellishments and craft.

The fabrics revealed Ikat motifs woven in Orissa that were at the start of the list. The handlooms of Bengal and Orissa also came together seamlessly, while the Kantha and its variations done by artisans added to the finesse of the garments.

Closing the show was popular TV and screen actor Gurmeet Choudhary of ‘Khamoshiyan’ fame who confidently strutted in a bias closure black/grey kurta and dhoti.
