July Reopens In Its New Avatar
July, a wonderful little boutique and the brainchild of Tanya Jaiswal has recently relocated and now offers a wide range of very wearable, Indo-Western evening wear, accompanied by scarves, shawls, belts, bags, costume jewelry and other accessories.
Tanya also creates bespoke garments for women that may want something totally unique and fitted according to their exact measurements.
Currently the store has some wonderful ranges of clothing for women in shades of black and grey for a cocktail party, yellows and greens perfect for a mehendi ceremony or a kitty party with your friends and dynamic and bold reds and oranges for a night out on town. These beautifully crafted and hand-embroidered garments showcase thread, bead and sequence work, zardozi and shell intermingled with prints in pastels and bold colors which are not only stylishly tailored but also very well-priced and pocket-friendly. Cottons, silks, linen adorn the store and there are matching evening bags with scarves and stoles too.
On the mezzanine, Tanya’s husband, Gautam Prashad has his quirky photography studio and the walls are adorned with a multitude of his photographs some of which are embellished with hand embroidered detail.
We highly recommend you visit, if not to purchase something for yourself then definitely for a friend. There are a plethora of choices at July so you will not go back disappointed!
