India is a land of diversity, where different communities reside and bring together their colorful and vibrant culture and traditions. Similarly, Holi, the festival of colors is celebrated across the country, differently in different regions – call it Basanta Utsav or Dol Jatra or Holi.

Recently, The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat celebrated Holi, by curating a Holi Brunch for their guests and patrons which saw an amalgamation of the different flavors of India making it to the Seasonal Tastes – the all-day dining restaurant at the property.

Holi is incomplete without some gujiya, bhaang, imarti and chaat. Elaborate food stations offering specialties of different regions were set up at the restaurant, for instance; ‘Agra ka chaat’, ‘Banaras ki kachori’, ‘Haridwar ka Malai Doodh’, ‘Imarti with Rabri’, ‘Tille waali Kulfi’, ‘Rabri Malpua’, ‘Gujiya, Thandai’ and a lot more.

The ambience of the restaurant gave the Holi feel, with the area being decorated with colorful paper designs, imaginative balloons and pichkaris. Dress code of the day was white kurta and jeans for the guests, with vibrant stoles being offered on behalf of the property. The entire brunch was priced at an attractive rate of Rs. 1,399 plus taxes per person, with an additional Rs. 499, all inclusive, for Holi special cocktail concoctions. All in all, it was an exciting and flavorful Holi at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat.
