Paranthe Wali Galli situated in the by-lanes of Sarat Bose Road is all decked up to embrace the New Year, and to celebrate the festival of Pongal where they are gifting their patrons a variety of flavors from Tamil Nadu infused in their signature dish, PARANTHAS.

Rahul Arora, Chef, and Owner of Paranthe Wali Galli, who is always experimenting with the flavors and keeps on serving some amazing, quirky combination says, “Every year Paranthe Wali Galli takes up one region of India and pays tribute to it by curating a menu that salutes the flavors of that region.

This time they pay a tribute to Tamil flavors with an ode to a cuisine that is earthy, rich and ancient. The menu aims at blending flavors of the South with the techniques of the North and symbolizing the true spiritual unity.”

The menu named “Dakshin Darshan” has a range of 6 Parathas to choose from. On the spread, there are − Paneer 65 paratha, which is a spicy, paneer stuffed paratha flavored with chili, mustard and curry leaf; Black Pepper Mutton Paratha, which is a Chettinad styled Mutton Paratha; Sweetcorn, coconut and curry-leaf flavored Corn Poriyal Paratha, a paratha stuffed with deconstructed sambhar called the Toor Sambhar Paratha, a Chicken Curry Leaf Paratha, which is flavored with Malligapodi, a Lemon Rice Paratha, having tangy lemon rice and crushed peanuts stuffed in paratha and a Dry fruit Coconut Paratha that consists of dry coconut, roasted dry fruits, jaggery and a hint of dry ginger.

This 42 seater Parantha Joint is open throughout the week from 9 am to 9 pm and it would cost Rs. 550/- (+taxes) for a meal for 2.
