The very first property under the Westin Hotels and Resorts in Kolkata has opened its doors to the City of Joy and they have already begun preparations to welcome Santa in style. Seasonal Tastes – the all-day dining restaurant at the property is preparing an elaborate and fabulous spread for the Kolkatans to savor.

On offer at Seasonal Tastes will be the Traditional Christmas roast with 4 varieties to gorge on – Turkey, Lamb, Fish and Chicken Roast with traditional accompaniments to go with it. Alongside the carving section, will be a Grill section which will have choice of meats and seafood, seasonal vegetables and accompaniments.

Guests will be spoilt for choice with the vast array of dishes from the Cold Seafood Section, International cold cuts and cheese; assorted tempuras, quiches and pies and an egg station serving preparations like ‘Croque Madame’, ‘Egg Benedict’, ‘Egg Florentine’, ‘Egg Royale’ will also be on offer. Additionally, the Italian, Thai, Indian, and Western live station will offer custom made dishes that will surely appease the palate of the guests.

A meal is incomplete without desserts. Try out the grand dessert spread which will display hand- crafted chocolates, Macaroons, Cakes and cake pops, Tarts, Puddings, Petit Gateaux, Verrines and the Traditional Christmas pudding and cakes. Additionally, there will be a Christmas pudding live flambé for guests. It isn’t over just yet- the guests get to take home Plum Cake and Ginger Cookies to savor during the festivities. Arrangements have been made to make the property Christmas ready. A Christmas tree will be set up in the atrium of Seasonal Tastes. A ginger bread house will adorne the lobby, and Christmas hampers and cakes will be up for grabs from the tree house. Some of the goodies available for sale will be ‘Gingerbread House’, ‘Traditional Christmas Pudding’, ‘Cinnamon Star’, ‘Yule Log’ alongside assorted Christmas cookies and pralines. All these goodies have been individually priced.
