Bodh

On 20th Sept. 2017, Bodh opened its doors to an exclusive location on Park Street as a multi-designer store for fashion clothing, bags, footwear, jewelry, and home decor and furnishings.  It is a one-stop-shop for all your fashion needs, with a variety of designs, styles and accessories.

Silks, velvets and chiffons flowed and the fragrance of tuberoses filled the rooms as the visitors rubbed shoulders with designers and were treated to a delightful display of specially crafted Mojuris, soft sole footwear, household accessories and a wide variety of colors, cuts and designs in outfits.

It was a pleasure to see an assortment of creations, from Latika Dhawan’s gota and zardozi work to SrijaniOlipriya’s prints and TaynaDesignStudio’s Indian and Western ensemble, the variety on display was quite intriguing.  While the outfits section displayed their own range, the jewelry section was not far behind.  While Aayati – The Royal Jewel displayed traditional jewelry ornaments, they were accompanied by The Jade Tree by Neha Sharma’s embroidered opulent necklaces and Sara (by Saloni Sureka) with its ethnic and western fusions.  Indusha Jewelry also offered its own style of ornaments.

Clutch’d offered a unique range of bags while Pheddies by Radhika Kanakia Kapur and Anjali Kanakia and The Sole Duet offered their own uniquely different varieties.  The idea of well-cushioned, good-looking fashion footwear was conceived when the designer’s mother developed knee problems and couldn’t find footwear which would support the heel and foot, and yet look elegant and beautiful.  This was the beginning of a new footwear journey.

Niki Koyana offered a range of products from ethnic wear, to hand woven linen, to khadi sarees to intricate jewelry.  Little stars was unique in its cotton and linen printed collection for little fashionistas and Casa 93’s home décor by Sunita Dhawan was minimalistic, yet timeless.

Kolkata should be proud to have this wonderful collection available under one roof to fulfil their trending needs.
