An Asa Kazingmei show is always an exciting event filled with extreme energy since the designer brings in a lot of excitement and pizzazz on the ramp. There is attitude, innovative styling and some unconventional construction that holds the audience’s interest. For Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019, Asa once again kept the tempo of the show in top gear.

This season, Asa devoted his designing skills to the future dresser’s dreams so his “Bionic” collection for men had all the hard ware and space age accruements that turn normal clothes into those that defy imagination.

Asa loves working with leather and he is a master in that genre as he attacked the ramp with a collection that was fierce and formidable. So, this season diverse leather options were lavishly embellished with not only studs but also some fantasy painting that offered new dimension to the apparel.

Making a stomping entry on the runway was a black and white patched, jacket worn with textured body-hugging trousers and laced up boots. Soon there was a line-up of bikers’ jackets, some with fierce animal faces painted on the rear.

His showstoppers were a trio of dashing men who caused a stir amongst the audience. Mr. Supranational 2018, Prathamesh Maulingkar made his almost regimental entry in a military style leather jacket, shirt and fitted pants with a variety of detailing. Nikhil Chinapa strode on to the ramp in a painted biker’s jacket and TV’s poplar star, Gurmeet Choudhary looked very rugged and dashing in a denim biker jacket and fitted leather trousers.

Sneha Arora presented a mélange of unconventional designs at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019. Creating a sense of individual style and identity; the collection “Breathe”, took its inspiration from making pause and space in the monotony of life.

Enchanting the audience with her design aesthetics that were every bit wearable, the essence of femininity was seen throughout. The designer made sure to showcase the perfect combination of style, elegance, energy, enthusiasm and glamour. Sneha’s high on glamour-quotient line, was the fusion of botanical miniature prints with hand-embroidered details.
