It was Raining Chocolates at JW Marriott Kolkata

Yes! You heard it right. A chocolate deluge struck JW Marriott Kolkata on July 7th World Chocolate Day when the best of the chocolate delicacies were on display at the popular dessert section of the all-day dining den – JW Kitchen. On display at the dessert station was a carefully crafted chocolate menu by their chefs, to give a sweet end to an extravagant meal.

To begin with, there was ‘Saotome Chocolate Royal Cake’ and ‘Chocolate and Hazelnut praline Entremets’ from amongst the cakes and entremets. Amongst the pastries to savor were the ‘Passion Andalucía’, ‘Chocolate Cheese Cake’ and ‘Madagascar Chocolate Flan’. An assortment of verrines included specialties like ‘Chocolate Air’ and ‘Chocolate Crème Brulee’.

‘Chocolate Day’ would be incomplete without a fondue! There were different flavors available such as Cappuccino Fondue’, ‘Lemon Grass Fondue’, ‘Five Spice Fondue’ and ‘Honey Fondue’. These were served alongside Chocolate Financier& Vanilla Madeleine, Mellon, Pineapple, Mango, Banana and Dried Apricots.

Other than these, there was a Praline table offering some tasty bars like ‘Fruity Chocolate Bar’, ‘Nutty Chocolate Bar’ and ‘Praline Noisette’. Besides that on offer were warm chocolate dishes like ‘Chocolate Moelleux served with Chocolate Ginger sauce’. For the ice-cream lover, an ice-cream counter was set up which had ‘Chocolate Chip’, ‘Chocolate and Mango’, ‘White Chocolate & Berry’ served alongside other flavors.

Celebrations didn’t end here. This sweet affair was followed by a workshop on 8th July, Saturday for the little ones which saw our chefs teaching the little ones to mold some delightful pralines.

In short, it was a ball for all chocoholics! This special table was available for buffet lunch and dinner.
