Mrs. Tanvi Shah Gupta from Kolkata won the coveted Archerz Mrs. India 2018 Crown with the title Mrs. South West Asia Universe 2018 at a grand event in Jaipur recently.
Tanvi, who is also the winner of Sananda Srimati Mrs.Kolkata (2014), made it through a total of 40 contestants to win the title. The renowned model and grooming expert, Nayanika Chatterjee has been an exceptional mentor who has had a tremendous impact on her career. She was crowned by Reshmi Ghosh, Miss India Earth 2002 and is now advancing to represent India at Mrs. Universe 2018 gala event in Philippines (Manila).
When asked how she feels being the representative of South West Asia region to participate in this glamorous yet competitive affair at the global platform, she said, “It is always an honor to represent India at an international platform. I feel a certain sense of responsibility while epitomizing my country at these platforms. However, I like to channel that sense of responsibility into promoting the rich cultural heritage that best describes me and the country I belong to. To offer the world of beauty a small part of India through my representation, is certainly elating”.
With a lot of grit and determination, Tanvi is inclined to prepare for Mrs. Universe 2018. The four rounds of the event – Talent Round, Western Wear (Gowns), Question & Answer and Traditional Wear, will lead the gifted woman towards the ‘crown’. With special attention on public speaking skills, workouts, diets and ramp walk, Tanvi endeavors to accomplish the title of Mrs. Universe 2018.
