“Fujifilm presents Calcutta Art Confluence 2017” stands in supporting and uplifting underground artists and telling the city those untold stories of Bengal. It is an amalgamation of artists, photographers, musicians and most importantly people who are interested in learning and experiencing more in this field of interest.
The two day-long event is scheduled to take place on the 16th and 17th of September at Art Rickshaw in Hindustan Park. Some of the renowned photographers like Soumya Shankar Ghosal, Lopamudra Talukdar, Raju Ghosh and Avik Ghosh will be there at the inauguration ceremony.
The evenings will include activities like live art sessions, poetry slams, art barter, etc. Furthermore, there will be an exclusive photo-booth by the event sponsor Fujifilm India that displays a whole-range of Instax cameras and a wonderful set of Calcutta themed post-cards curated by Calcutta Instagrammers and published by Rare Planet.
