Curated by women entrepreneurs Priti Agarwal, Sneha Tapdiya, Shilpi Goel and Saloni Bhalotia, there is a personal touch and feel to this display at one of the biggest events of its kind in Eastern India. “Fireflies is a meeting point of luxury, glamor and elegance, a platform for shopaholics looking for ….products brought to Kolkata by sought after designers,” says Priti Agarwal.
At this day-long event, where Tollywood glam-queens graced it at different times of day, at Taj Bengal on 14 March, there was glitzy home decor and jewellery a-plenty, where exclusively fashioned diamond creations took centre stage, with fashion jewelry also vying for customer attention; new age prêt fashion and opulent bridal wear, with innovative names and fresh styling − 75 or so designer brands making for sparkling choices.
