This year the theme being Bengal’s vey own Rabindranath Tagore. The pandal has been enticed with alphabets and depicting Tagore’s unmatchable literary skills. His book “Geetanjali’, been made to come alive. The depiction of words coming out of the book is breath taking. It also illustrates beautifully his keenness for music and dance. Statues, that look mirror image to life, shows his music being enjoyed and women dancing to Rabindra-Sangeet. It has also been graced with a marvelous statue of Rabindranath himself. The deity is stationed under books thus also giving a message to encourage education. Overall an enthralling experience and a must visit for the pandal hoppers this year!!
