Anushree Reddy And SVA By Sonam And Paras Modiat LFW

Enthralling the audience with her stunning fashion offerings and high-octane creativity, Anushree Reddy presented a melodious symphony of ensembles at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018.

With “Sitara” as her muse, just like a girl with the bright sparkling eyes and twinkle in her toes, each silhouette was a vision of beauty with hints of feminine tenderness induced effortlessly in terms of style and appeal.

The sublime combination of romanticism and femininity of “Sitara” mesmerizingly came together to form a visual extravaganza. With elaborate techniques, sensual colors and decadent drapes, the collection celebrated raw sensuality with a delicate explosion of handcrafted and three-dimensional appliqué work.

Taking her embellishments game to the next level, leaving the spectators with wedding dressing goals, she used 3D fleur, butterflies, leaves and fictional characters as appliqués to create eccentric designs.

The pale baby pink lehengas with silver work and matching cholis with frothy tulle dupattas were a dream to behold; while the very sophisticated, elegant, ash-grey, lehenga styled with a corset bustier and heavily embellished dupatta would be the best bet for the swinging Sangeet nights.

For a show stopping entry was gorgeous Bollywood diva Malaika Arora in a lemon/green scalloped-edged, ornate lehenga worn with a deep ‘V’ neck blouse and ruffled dupatta which was a definite trend-setter.

With a collection that was an ode to richness and glory, SVA by Sonam and Paras Modi wooed the audience with a range of ensembles that defined mystique glam for men and women at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018. The “Merlot” collection had all the intoxicating fashion flavor that will take the wearer on a new stylish high.

Besides being spectacularly innovative and high on the glamour quotient, the main highlight of the duo’s designs was the tousled medley of fluidity, blended mesmerizingly with a glittering mélange of motifs. With creativity being the central theme, there was a range of immaculately tailored silhouettes that were softly, divine yet dignified.

Enchanting the audience with their design aesthetics that were every bit wearable, SVA’s innovative and high on glamour quotient was the fusion of shimmering mixed metals with delicate ombré, as opposed to the strong hues that caused a metallic, extravagant, sensation on the ramp.

With contours of extremism in their design aesthetics, the ensembles brought out the best of both worlds. The exquisite use of the suave drapes and structured pleats were translated onto statement jackets, lehengas and organza shirts that made each silhouette look effortlessly striking. It was a mastery play in marrying progressive aesthetics with a cascading display of luxury.

Men’s wear was stylishly elegant with just the right touches when it came to embellishments for the Sherwanis, bundgala jackets and bundies. The beige, ombré, pleated sherwani stood out among all the other silhouettes.

For a show stopping, head turning entry, gorgeous Bollywood actor Nushrat Bharucha glided in a black, embellished jacket with cascading detail, teamed with embroidered pants.
